Drive Mad is an off-road driving game with simple, colourful graphics. You'll control different vehicles across various terrains in each level, but with the same goal: reaching the finish line.
The game starts with the most basic vehicle to help you get used to the game mechanics. The right arrow moves you forward; the left arrow moves you backward. The up arrow slightly lifts the front of the car, while the down arrow brakes. However, in this crazy driving game, anything is possible; some levels will reverse the controls, and you'll have to experiment to figure them out.
Some levels feature more challenging four-wheeled vehicles that are prone to tipping over when crossing the gaps between rope bridges and roads, requiring skill and precision. Move slowly to place the two front wheels first, then you can accelerate to cross. Sometimes the car will have square wheels; you can't go fast and need to move step by step.
The game features a wide variety of terrains, providing a truly exciting experience. Many finish lines are located at the bottom of a steep slope followed by water. You need to drive slowly and brake continuously so that the car can reverse to the finish line, avoiding falling into the water. Many sections will have no roads or bridges, requiring you to utilise gravity after going downhill, trying to drive as fast as possible to fly to the area ahead.
